The British Club has a wide range of attractive venues and experienced staff offering seamless professional catering and hosting services with a crowd-pleasing range of menu options.
We can cater for any indoor and outdoor event, large or small, including weddings, birthdays, parties, sports, business meetings, conferences, educational events, promotions, and product launches,
Venues include air-conditioned function rooms in the Clubhouse, as well as the expansive Front and Back Lawns, the Multi-Purpose Court and poolside facilities.
Let us take care of all the organizational details of your function with a minimum of fuss. Relax and enjoy our graceful and unobtrusive service for which the Club is famous.
The general rule is that venues cannot be booked where that might prevent other Members from enjoying the facilities. Particularly at peak times, this means that certain areas will not be available for exclusive booking for example poolside kiddie’s areas during weekends. Nevertheless we will always do our best to satisfy your needs

Silom Meeting room
Silom Meeting room can be booked for board meetings, other small meetings, board games, dinners or functions. It also sometimes booked as a spill-over room for buffet and drinks service when there are large functions in the Suriwongse Room.
A screen, LED projector and full F&B service can be provided

Suriwongse Room
The stylish Suriwongse Room, the British Club’s largest function room, is used for very kind of event including live theatre and music, weddings, parties, meetings, presentations, movies, wine tastings, sit-down dinners, and buffets.
The room is 15.00m x 8.45m and can seat up to 100 for dining and as many as 130 for other events. There is a large screen, LED projector and PA system. The Club team can prepare all kinds of creative settings for any kind of event.
The adjoining rooms can be used for additional circulation and for serving food and drinks: the Silom Room and the 1910 Sports Bar with its open-air terrace.
The 1910 Balcony
The 1910 Balcony is a first floor, covered open-air venue overlooking the Back Lawn. It is a great place for drinks or watching sports on TV. Also available for ‘break-outs’ for functions in the main Suriwongse Room.
Front & Back Lawns
The British Club is set in lush grounds surrounded by trees and with spacious lawns in front and behind the graceful colonial-style Clubhouse. The Lawns are used for all kinds of events and functions including weddings, parties, dinners, awards ceremonies, children’s sports and parties, movies, carol nights, book sales, boot sales, and public events such as ‘Living in Bangkok’ and ‘Canada Day’.
Front Lawn:
The Front Lawn, a stylish venue for any event, is overlooked by the classical Clubhouse built in 1910 and lined by the Memorial Terrace incorporating the War Memorial and a unique ornamental turtle pond. It can be booked for events for up to 200 people and, after dark, with the Clubhouse, terrace and surrounding trees fully illuminated, it makes a magical setting
Back Lawn:
The Back Lawn, with the rear of the Clubhouse providing an elegant backdrop, offers a larger and more secluded venue. Big trees surround the lawn, and, at night-time, this venue offers an enchanting setting for up to 350 people and more if the adjoining Multi-Purpose Court is annexed for use.
Both lawns can be set up with PA systems, stages, and awnings, with the full range of British Club Food & Beverage services including sit-down dinners, buffets and fun food for sports and more casual events.
Multi-Purpose Court
The Multi-Purpose Court adjoins the Back Lawn behind the Clubhouse. As the name suggests, it serves many purposes and can be booked for events as a standalone facility or together with the Back Lawn.
With its hard-court surface, it can be used for such sports as Ball Hockey, Indoor-rules cricket and futsal. Alternately, awnings can be erected and felt flooring laid to have it serve as a unique indoor/outdoor venue for fairs and shows, especially in conjunction with the Back Lawn.
Poolside Games Room
Poolside Games Room: When Phase 2 of the Poolside Redevelopment Project opens, the temporary Fitness Centres in the Silom Wing will relocate to the new building and Fitness 1 on the Ground Floor of the Silom Wing will be refurbished as a Games Room which can be booked for private kids parties.
Games envisioned include arcade games Table Tennis, Foosball Shuffleboard, Virtual Darts and Pinball, equipment that can be used or pushed back to create party space.
The Kids Stop / Coffee Stop is not available for private bookings when the Club is busy at weekends but can be reserved on other days of the week.
