Hockey
Ball hockey is modelled on North American ice hockey rather than field or grass hockey, and is a mainstay in Canada, popular in certain parts of the United States and Europe and increasingly so in Asia. There are now leagues in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Cambodia to name a few. The Ball Hockey Section at the Club invites all newcomers to the sport as well as any seasoned veterans who have not been out in a while. Barring rain, a game is played most Saturdays, on the Multi Purpose Court of the British Club starting at 3.45pm, and all you need is a good pair of running shoes, shorts and t-shirt; sticks and other equipment for goalies are available at the Club.
If you are interested in joining, please send an email to bkkballhockey@gmail.com so that you can be added to the weekly ball hockey communiqué.
